As a co-author of the one and only science policy textbook "Beyond Sputnik ? U.S. Science Policy in the 21st Century" Toby Smith has his finger on the pulse of the science policy world. Join FOSEP to hear Toby discuss the current state of science in Washington, D.C., how things have changed with the new administration and congress, and how scientists can play a part in policy making, including tips on communication strategies between scientists and policy makers. There will be ample time for discussion after his talk open to everyone.
