Title: "Historical Perspectives on Arctic Climate Variations"
Speaker: Kevin Wood (CoE/JISAO)
Come hear Kevin Wood defend his PhD thesis "Historical Perspectives on
Arctic Climate Variations". Kevin has studied Arctic climate
variability in a variety of interesting and important ways - for
instance, compiling meteorological observations from the 1st ever
International Polar Year in 1882, extending indices of climate
variability back into the early 19th century, and evaluating a variety
of historical and non-instrumental records.
The Applied Physics Lab Hardisty Conference Center is on the 6th floor
of Henderson Hall. Enter through the doors on the east side of the
building, and take the elevator or stairs to the 6th floor.
