The course will cover what are the responsibilities of scientists: what is ethical behavior and what is bias: what makes a study “good science” not “junk science”: what are the moral and ethical issues faced in performing research: and we will pose the question: is it dishonest to tweak models and filter input/output: together we will develop professional ethics and understand conflict of interest.
Course offered Credit/No Credit.
Format will be short talk, extensive discussion, argument and resolution.
